Cathi Lammert, R.N.,
Executive Director of the National Office of SHARE Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Inc.
As a bereaved parent, Cathi combines her personal experience with her education and professional back-ground as an obstetrical nurse. Her son, Christopher Michael, lived just 4 days and died due to Hydrops Fetalis, a complication of Rh sensitization.
Cathi and her husband, Chuck, have been involved with Share since 1983, shortly after Christopher’s death. Their work began as Share group facilitators for the first group in St. Louis. Cathi became the executive director of National Share in 1992. Her duties include managing the national office, conducting workshops for professionals, clergy, bereaved parents and their families, writing articles/material on perinatal bereavement issues, supporting 80 Share support groups, serving as a resource for professionals and the media and advocating for bereaved parent’s rights. The part of her job that touches her most is time spent hands on with bereaved families and their precious babies. She feels the bereaved parents have been her greatest teachers.
At SHARING’s Spring Event, Cathi will involve us in an interactive exploration of issues confronting grieving parents on the road to hope and healing after pregnancy and infant loss.

WHO will attend?
Bereaved parents, the people who care about them, the healthcare community, and others interested in gaining per-spective on life after pregnancy and infant loss.
WHY attend?
For families who have experienced a loss:
The Spring Event is an opportunity to learn, reflect, share and connect with others who are “where you are” or who have “been there” before you as bereaved parents.
For Health Care Professionals:
The Spring Event is an opportunity to learn more about the impact of loss on patients and families and to support them through their grief and future family plans.
Directions:
Take Interstate 65 south through Nashville toward Huntsville. Exit on Harding Place (highway 255) and turn right. At the intersection of Harding Place and Franklin Pike (highway 31) turn right. Travel north 1.3 miles to 3710 Franklin Pike. The church building is located on the right side of the road.
OR
Take Interstate 65 north toward Nashville. Exit south of downtown on Harding Place (highway 255) and turn left back across the interstate. At the intersection of Harding Place and Franklin Pike (highway 31) turn right. Travel north 1.3 miles to 3710 Franklin Pike. The church building is located on the right side of the road.
